I think you may be trying to build more into this then needs be. My x51v worked great right out of the box with the preloaded BT stack. I opened BT settings. I turned on BT. I searched for new device to partner with and found my GPS unit. I did have to enter the passkey, but that was '0000' like it is on most devices. From there my iGuidance software took over and everything ran smooth as silk.
I'll admit that I was surprised not to have the same little BT interface, but it made for a lot less settings to mess with.
