Motion blur in TCPMP / Coreplayer MP4

Hi folks,

I've got a strange one. I'm sure I'm missing something:

I can play mp4s on my TCPMP player fine, unless they are h.264 - I haven't yet bought the avc plugin for that. I have a TV program that a friend made for me - it is mp4 video, aac audio, which works fine. 384X288, FR=23.976. All this usually works fine. However, when I play this one, any motion on screen causes a huge pixelation / blur, like the people are melting. If I pause and fast forward, it's fine. But, playing at normal speed makes a huge mess if there is any motion.

TCPMP is using the CoreASP codec. I have all the plugins from Picard's site. (Is there a way to force TCPMP to change codec?)

Anyway - I've been struggling with this for days, tried every setting I can think of. ANyone know what this motion blur is attributable to? I CAN play this on my desktop using Nero showtime with no problems.

help!

Thank you!
