I purchased a Dlink CF660 W from Comp USA on July 13 for about $40 after rebate. It worked great for 2 weeks and then on the 15th day, it started acting up. Not connecting, connecting for a while and then freezing my Axim, or creating "unrecognized card inserted" message.
I called the Dlink tech support desk and they had me change some setting on my router which seemed to fix the problems, only to find out later, that the card was using the connect for a while and then freeze the Axim routing.
The next day I was on the phone again and this time the tech recognized that the card itself may be bad and gave the number for a return authorization (which you can only call during regular business hours).
The next Monday I was on interminable hold until I finally got a person who said that since I had had the card less than a month, I should return it to the place where I purchased it, as they only replace with refurbished equipment.
Luckily Comp USA allowed an even exchange, even though their policy is no exchanges after 14 day.
Today the new card is working fine, however, I will hold my breath when the next two week period is up.
