Not sure why. The best for me has been PocketSecure with Sprite but that is still not perfect. I have had to reload some software and codes. No rhyme or reason found so far. And I am sorry that you are having difficulties.
I looked at and tried several of the various supplemental security options on the PPC, including Pocket Secure, but did not find that there was enough advantage to using them over the standard WM password lockout in my usage, so I just use the built-in security. I also found that there was often interference with other programs, sometimes even after deinstallation of the supplemental security program, requiring manual registry cleanup.
I ran a supplemental security program for quite awhile on my Palm PDA, but eventually discontinued use of it there, too, for much the same reasons.
The supplemental security programs obviously do provide some advantages to some folks, though. Again, YMMV.
