Bad speaker jack

The Dell Axim X51v they have a substandard vendor 1/8" mini head phone jack. I bought a new X51v and with in two weeks the internal speaker quit working, Dell was great they send me another X51v (referbished) to replace it, in a month the internal speaker quit working on it also. I use head phones alot. I call Dell and they said that they were bad jacks on the x51v he said by taking a needle you can flip the bimetal clip back over the post. I could not see down there as to what I was doing, but on me third try the internal speaker was working again. But up on installing the head phones again the internal speaker quit again (note the head phones have all ways worked). When you install the head phones the 1/8" mini jack it has a switch that disconnects the internal speaker and that is what is a bad design. My problem is I want a new revised 1/8" mini jack installed, not another X51v with the old jack that will do it again, Help what do I do Steve
