CF is certainly faster but remember that the CF slot is I/O and the SD is memory only.
So my vote is buy a non-Scamdisk SD memory card and use the CF for any I/O (bluetooth, wifi etc.).
Also bear in mind that your NEXT PDA is more likely to have SD than CF.
