So, it provides the users a great way to sample things and find the occasional keeper with no trial duration limitations, etc. If you find something you can't live without, you will probably want to buy it eventually anyway, perhaps when the new version comes out, or if you find yourself needing technical support. Consider it a free sample, like say someone gave you a potted plant that normally sells for $20, a rose bush perhaps, and as long as you can keep it alive you can fully enjoy it and don't have to pay for it. If it dies and you really wish you still had such a plant, you have to shell out the $20 for the replacement. :) (If you want something that is a free offer which is ALWAYS free, well, the common names for that are freeware, open source, etc. No doubt, many of those programs are outstanding.) By the way, I did get the game installed on both the x50v and x51v before the offer ended. Seems to be running great, now I just need to learn how to actually play this type of game.
