I need some advice regarding sharing the internet from the Axim to the desktop via Activesync.

I've been able to share internet connection from the X51V to different PPC devices , and computers but only wirelessly (wifi/bluetooth) using HTTPSnoopProxy with no problem.

I'm trying to share a connection to the desktop from the Axim while docked. The problem I'm facing is that when I dock the Axim, ActiveSync (4.2) disables wifi connection and I lose my wifi card's IP address. If I disable connmgr.exe (using Airfix) to get around it, I get a valid IP (from the wireless router) on my axim but cannot get internet connection. connmgr.exe enabled, no problem getting internet connection, connmgr.exe disabled- no internet but has a valid IP address.

I'm just experimenting. Here's the setup. I disconnected LAN from the computer. Internet connection from router to Axim, Axim running HTTPSnoopProxy to share internet connection to the desktop via ActiveSync. The only problem I'm encountering is getting an internet connection via wifi when connmgr.exe is disabled (using Airfix). Any thoughts?
