Hi Cool Hand,

Yes, html files can be read on your browser. But mobipocket can also read html.

Free readers, in addition to MS Reader are:

www.Mobipocket.com - besides mobi format, will read unencrypted html, pdf, palm, word, rss news.

www.ereader.com - they also have a paid reader. For palm docs only.

The above are my 2 favorite readers and are both fully able to be customized and with screen tap to turn page. There is also Adobe Reader for PPC, which in my opinion is the worst for reading on a PDA (and horrible with VGA Axim X51v, unless you get hi-res fix which makes the print tiny). It does not let you change the font used, but does allow for changing colors and size.

Mobipocket lets you read on up to 4 devices, and eReader has you put in the name & credit card number used to open encrypted files.

I used to use MS Reader, but it has a really limited screen tap to turn page, no font change, was unable to change font sizes on many ebooks, and no changing of font/background colors (I use green font on black to read).

There are a couple of other free readers - search forum(s) and you will find.
