I just installed Vista Business MSDN version on my work/test system Friday, but hadn't done any hardcore sync testing, but if I remember correctly mine only asked to sync media as well--BUT I believe this was before I installed Outlook 2003 and I didn't plug my Axim back in. Microsoft has a step-by-step guide for this
here called Windows Vista Mobile Device Center Step by Step Guide.
