Most of the time people here are relatively cool, if you want to turn your device into a paperweight with an untested/illegal ROM then most of them will sit back and just watch you do it... maybe they'll grin while they watch. Some may even tell you that you could end up with a paperweight *before* they show you how to do it. ;)

Here's a link to a Microsoft devs blog that lists some good reasons why you don't want to be using leaked or unofficial ROMs on your device, not least of which is the paperweight effect.

I know you're not putting WM6 on your device, but is there any reason to *really* want it? Does it do anything that WM5 doesn't?
