You can *probably* repair your PDA if you manage to brick it, but if you upgrade the bootloader (likely needed in order for WM6 to boot) then if that fails you can well and truly end up with something that can only be used for spare parts. Flashing a custom ROM (or even a manufacturer supplied one) always has a risk of completely killing your device, with unofficial ROMs the risk is greater.
You can get Windows Live Mobile for WM5, I've seen it in one of the forums here.
As to Dell never giving us WM6, there is no proof that they won't, and conversely no proof that they will, if you know better then point me to a reliable source. Hearsay from phoning or chatting online with Dell tech support isn't worth the paper it's written on.
What extra Wifi or BT support is going to be added?
I'm not meaning to get at anyone, I just really want to know why so many people *have* to have WM6....
