i dont think that the dragging speed is because of activesync. the serial connector on the axim itself is very limited. i read somewhere its slightly less than usb 1.1 (please correct me if im wrong on that one) so using another transfer program going through your axim will make little to no difference. its best to use that card reader. if its hard to get out make a tab out of tape that you can pull on. look it up in the forums here on instructions.
