Just checked it out 40iplay is $29.99 USD.

I was skeptical about the sound quality, but I just tried it out. It does sound better than other players, as it does not sound tinny anymore. I tried it with my Shure e2c's, which have very good high frequency response, and the music sounded good. With TCPMP it was hard to listen sometimes. Yes I am picky.

As for paying $29.99 for a music player, when I already have two good dedicated mp3 players? I think I'll pass.

Since TCPMP is free, plays movies, and is good with system resources, I will stick with it, even though the sound leaves something to be desired.
