Hmmmm... I find that I get much longer than that. With pocket player, the screen switches off after 60 seconds and the battery seems to last for a good three hours as long as you don't keep switching the screen back on. Even watching videos on Coreplayer, I can watch a full length DVD (1.5 to 2 hours) easily. Of course I also carry a spare high capacity battery for when it does go flat.
