The "built-in memory" on the Axim is described as FLASH ROM and there is approximately 24 unused megabytes of storage. If this is truly ROM, how can you write and store data to it? Is this just a chunk of the ROM left over after the Pocket PC OS is written to the factory installed 48MB of "ROM" or is it something else?
I also noticed that "built-in memory" or flash ROM is not copied or overwritten in the process of doing a back-up or restore.
Can anyone clarify?
