I also had a SanDisk card that was bad. It would behave for a couple of weeks and then fail. Best advice is to return the SanDisk card for a refund within the 30 day period Dell gives you. After 30 days, you're stuck. If you wait until you're thoroughly convinced that indeed the card is defective, it will probably be too late. I waited too long.
