I have a question for or those of you who do have the Gravis Stinger, but cant get it to work.

Have you ever tried to put a wire that goes from pin1 on the stinger to the pin1 on the Axim cable? If you do this for all 9 pins then you should get a connection.

I hope I said that right, but the point is that you shouldn't have to cross over the transmit and receive wires. This is already be done in the Axim and the Stinger hardware. A null modem reverses this, hence no connection.

In other words, both devices are sending on the same wire. That means they are talking REALLY LOUD AT THE SAME TIME. Hence, no connection.

I hope this helps. I don't have a serial cable or a stinger, but I do want to hear that someone got this to work.
