I'm not opposed to doing a hard reset at all - I think the only thing I might have trouble getting back on there is a game or two that I downloaded a while back, but I might still be able to find the install files somewhere.
So, about this hard reset - how do I go about doing it anyway?

Back up First
Connect the Axim to the PC and sync. When the sync has finished, select Tools and then Backup/Restore (from AS on the PC) and select Full Backup.
When you have backed up (and
only when), disconnect the Axim and reset. Use the stylus to press the reset hole (rear of the Axim) and press the power button at the same time. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset.
