I have installed Windows Mobile Device Center on the Vista computer, and deleted the sync partneship on my old home XP PC. When I plug the Axim into the cradle attached to the Vista computer, WMDC recognized the device name (displayed in left hand corner), and the Axim records a successful connect. However WMDC says "Changes to sychronization settings with Server ActiveSync could not be made at this time."
Anyone have any idea what this message means, and how to fix it?
Also, I have not found a way to delete the partnership in the Axim, just the PC, so there are still two partnerships in the Axim. How do you delete a partnership on the Axim? There doesn't appear to be any way to do it. Is there a way to do it manually, such as deleting a specific file?

I have read that Vista only works with Outlook 2003 or newer and that is why I am checking to see if my x5 will work with Vista. I have a feeling that it won't. Microsoft likes to make thing obsolete and we may be victims. I will stay with XP until I know more.
