Interesting. I just today recieved my Axim X5 Advanced (woohoo!) and was going to be looking into this area.
Am interested to know what OpenGL capability (if any) exists on the Axim. Battery life considerations probably come into it I imagine.
I'm the author of the glData (
http://gldata.sourceforge.net) project (OpenGL data viewer in Win32) and so OpenGL graphics are a sideline interest to me.
