You could run a similar argument months ago with the X50 series. That is no longer being produced and it was still offered for a price. So can WM6 classic, which is in more demand consumer wise than WM5.
Not saying I demand it but I can't see it getting dismissed without a price people are willing to pay, even if it ends up being buggy like the jungle.
Also check out "Idea Storm" by Dell, a valid argument goes along way, with alot of people that is. :p
