If you hang around xda-developers, it is common sense that a ROM for one device will not work on another. It just does not work with embedded devices, or even a full Windows OS just like Haesslich said!

No no one "nos" for sure, but there will most likely 99.9% not be a WM6 upgrade. If you have read a recent article on Aximsite saying that Dell will be exiting the PDA market, you know they will remove the Axim from their site right when their last unit is sold. Since they make no money when they sell you a Windows Mobile upgrade (They sell them for $30, the cost of a Windows Mobile license), and it will not help push the unit or any future unit, there is absolutely no reason to make one. They will loose money developing it, and they will also loose money from bricked Axims during the upgrade (yes, it even sometimes happens on the devices the ROM was designed for, very rarely though).
