Why do you need a screensaver? It's just wasting battery when you can just press the standby button to switch the unit off and save the screen that way. I know that the unit is kept on when in the cradle, but LCD screens don't have the same burn-in issues that CRT screens did so a screen saver is not as necessary.

If you prefer to switch the screen off when in cradle I recommend getting a copy of psShutXP, after it is first run you get an extra program "Display Switch" which will switch off the screen when run and can be assigned to a hardware key.
