Actually, there is a free utility called Playlistmgr. In addition to create normal playlists, it has an option to read your podcast library on your PocketPC, it creates a playlist and sorts the contents from newest to oldest.
It has a shortcut called Podcast too.
Everytime, you click on the Podcast shortcut (stored in Start menu), it scans the Podcast folder, creates new playlist and launch the player (assigned to asx playlist)
