I'm using TCPMP. The speed indication comes out of the windows
power management screen.
There are so many variables that it's hard to tell.
And if it doesn't show up in the task manager, I can't tell.

I reset it and tried again. When it's in the cradle, I get the
same symptom. Out of the cradle, the speed drops as I expect
on AUTO. Maybe I just got confused and did the test in the
cradle before. Don't suppose I have to sweat it when it's
on AC power.

WMA is out of the question. I ain't gonna recode my library.
