Zircon only works in the old-style (pre-Wm5) AVRCP when copying the iPlay bt* ini file to the app data folder used by Zircon. But who uses 2003 anymore? It doesn't work because you have to know how to program it to make it work. It's as simple as that. There's no "some chipsets hate..." to it. haha -- some people will buy any lame excuse (again and again).

Well, considering it works on some devices and not on others... there's probably something TO that theory, especially since all you're doing here is bashing one product in order to promote your own. PocketPlayer and WMP dont' have issues with AVRCP on my Axim x51v - TCPMP and CorePlayer, on the other hand, don't work with AVRCP on the same device... which suggests there's something with the program that doesn't like either the chipsets or the BT stack used. Considering I had the same lack of AVRCP on an hx2490 which comes with Widcomm's BT stack, I doubt it's a stack-related issue.
Speaking of lame excuses, when will I be able to actually load the page to try the product? The only way I can get there is with Google's cache. I can't say I'm impressed with the type of behavior that gets called 'trolling' on some forums.

As I wrote, Zircon installs on a 2003 if AS4+ is used, and Zircon is all I've used for the past several months. It works 100% as advertised (and then some). But I can see those on old, obsolete tech wanting old, obsolete software with which they are familar. Zircon is for new stuff, with screens that flip, for one-handed operation, easy to use (works sort of like an ipod, but better). iPlay v1 dates to early 2001, the pre-ipod era. The Zircon player's EXE filesize is something like 180 KB, and yet it does everything it needs to do. It handles 1500 files, no problem (SD4 + CF8), and is ready just as fast at 1500 files as it is with two files.
Someone should write "comedy" on the core link. That thread looks just like a used-car sales lot, with some real big ugly fat ... guy BS'ing anyone and everyone that'll fall for it. LOL It's a comedy, well, looking in from the outside it is.

Incidentally, since when was insulting a customer considered a good way to promote your product? I'd personally suggest taking
PR lessons from Apple or some other company whose products are widely sold (and admired). And maybe unblocking most IP ranges. :D
Seriously, mods, can we get a warning for trolling? This is getting a BIT much, and he's not contributing anything to the forums...
