Mowfax - thanks so much!! That did it for me.

I edited the .inf file, replacing the DirID variables with the correct paths, and it worked like a charm.

I would add that in addition to the %CE#% variables, I needed to replace the AppName and InstallDir varialbles, as well. These are both found under the [CEStrings] section - but I needed to replace them in the rest of the .inf file. Perhaps this is because I downloaded an old version of the SDK (my cabwiz.exe file is version 3.7.0.3083 - not sure how old that is).

But, thanks to you all, I can now run OneNoteMobile on my Dell Axim X3i!!

Oh, and to the person who can't find the OneNoteMobile.cab -- while the instructions in this thread say to look in the "Office Installation Path/Office12/1031" directory, I believe this is a typo. In my case, it was in the Install Path/Office12/1033 directory. Hope this helps you find it.
