I think the Axim could be improved with built-in WiFi, a slightly brighter and larger screen, and maybe make it a bit thinner. In addition to WiFi, might as well have built-in cell communications so you could hit the internet and email anywhere, anytime.

It would have to have a good screen protector, the biggest SD card I can find, and a top case such as a customized Vaja.

Software-
1) Trenotes!
2) Agenda Fusion or Pocket Informant
3) A REAL Word and Excel
4) A full setup for viewing movies, including software on the Axim and PC so you could plug in a DVD and it would automate the conversion to the right format on the Axim.
