It wasn't hardware that made the ipod a success. there were other players with better spec out there. It was iTunes that shot everyone else out of the water. iServices will be what makes or breaks the iPhone.
And so far Apple have kept a very quiet lid on that.
Nokia have a similar opinion, which is why they are pushing their new widgets , but they may be playing catch up,

Baby Jogga has the iPOD Nano and it is
nowhere near as good as the Zen V (in fact I think it's rubbish; far too fragile) - but the iTunes Store was used (for the first time) yesterday. Excellent search and download facilities and significantly cheaper than buying CDs.
