Using Memmaid, here's what I do:
1) remove dups
2) select blank entries and remove
3) remove all alarms from days previous to today (I have found the last two times in the last 30 days--yes, twice in the last month when I've checked memmaid I had task and calendar items from the previous day, essentially making my queue get 'stuck')
4) IMPORTANT: TURN THE DEVICE COMPLETELY OFF, THEN ON AGAIN SO IT HAS TO GO THROUGH ITS COMPLETE BOOTUP PROCESS. I've found soft resetting doesn't do anything for me. The entries get put back in. At one point, I had 24 or so blank entries which, I believe, get put in the queue with each soft reset (one blank entry for each soft reset). I've removed blank items, and soft reset and they'd be back there.
Once I've powered back on after powering my PDA phone COMPLETELY off, I see all my alarms fire for today and I smile.
NOTE: I had a Dell Axim x50v before this so I don't remember how to completely power off (by the above comment I don't mean pressing the power button off and on again-I mean a complete shut down and reboot).
I hope this helps. It worked for me like a charm the past 3 times I've had to do it.
Hopefully I've been clear here, so just repost if you have questions.
