Specifically, I just take captures of the different screens, open them in Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0, resize, sharpen, save as jpg, open jpgs, layer them in one file, and then choose save for web, gif, and animate/loop at 2 seconds. Other programs will do this. You can find gif tutorials online.
