Mobility Site - View Single Post - best settings with little or no dropped frames?

i'm also using vdub (1.5.4).. if i decimate by 2 i get a 6.4fps average .. i don't get it.. this stuff was working before.. i'm gonna try reinstalling pocketmvp i guess.

one thing.. divx config used to have 1 pass, 2 pass first pass and 2 pass 2nd pass, now it says multipass 1st pass, multipass n-th pass.. hmmmm.. i know it's not related but how'd it change?

ok i just tried playing a johnny english vid that i encoded at 25 fps and it plays fine with very little dropped frames.. must be something stupid i did in vdub or something, the problem file plays fine on my pc so the encode worked.. i'll go looking at settings i guess but i'm stumped.
