I'm using VDub 1.5.1 so yours might be a little different. I'll describe from memory as my VDub app is installed on a HDD that is just about dead. I don't want to access anything on that drive until I can recover the data to a new 80 pounder I just picked up.
Ok, from memory. On the same screen that you set your rules regarding screen rotation, resize, etc, there is a function called something like "HSC" for Hue/Saturation/Colour or something similar. You go to the 'saturation' tab and there is a slider that bumps up the colour saturation. On mine it only allowed specific increases. 140% was the minimum setting above 100% (normal).
It really helps liven the colour on the Ax, replacing the faded colours from the LCD screen.
