Ditto.
Drop the phone and the camera from the silly thing and I'd be sold on it. I already have a phone that's better at being a phone, and I already have a real camera that takes real pictures. I don't need my PDA to pretend to be either.
I want my PDA to be a computer, not a "convergent device." I want it to have a crapload of processing power, a pile of storage space or slots to put it in, and a big screen with a lot of resolution so I can use both of the above effectively. WiFi sorts of wireless are a must; Phone sorts of wireless are pointless. My PDA will be my PDA, not the phone company's. If I want to go EDGE/GPRS/GRMS I'll get a card.
Even as is, my Axim is a "do all" gadget. It plays music and videos, surfs the web, hacks WiFi hotspots, processes data, does minor image manipulation, does GPS, and so forth. But I have no need or desire to have my PDA tied to a crappy cell phone or a crappy camera just to make it look more "convergent" and wind up the price another couple hundred bucks.
