If I start Explorer and enters an URL it doesn't get access. The browser eventually gives me this error:
"The page cannot be found." But the page does exist!

What's missing here?

Help will be greatly appreciated.

P.s. is this considered plug 'n play?
Have you signed up for a data connection with your service provider, also there are advanced settings to be considered, see this thread, and this thread, for a complete guide to dial up networking. HTH
