Screen protectors that get tucked in at the edges of the screen can cause this issue.
Also, squeezing the Axim to make it work is not a solution. And it won't go away on its own. Once the screen stops responding to stylus taps, even if it's intermittent, that means the screen is slightly separated from the foil beneath it. It won't get better on its own. (Unless, of course, it was temporarily caused by a screen protector.)
My replacement is already on the way. I already know what the problem is.
I just want to know if anyone has managed to prevent this problem from re-occuring.
I think I'll just try the DS hard case and hope for the best!
