I agree with MartinWane. But I want to point out that mileage does vary. If you like WiFi, listening to MP3s, watching videos, reading Ebooks, or using a hard drive, then the battery will last much less time. I guess that's why they offer the extended battery.

Also, Dell may be the only manufcturer that lets you charge an extra battery in the cradle. (Batteries do not have to be plugged into the Ax to charge). This means you can charge one battery at home while using the other one at work. Way cool, if you want to spring for two batteries.
