Ok, so I had a much better chance to use the 6316 at T-Mobile. I walked in and asked if they had a 6315 that I could demo. They brought one out and let me play with one for 30 minutes uninterrupted. I still think the processor is too slow, but again, I know it's to save battery life. It's just too bad that my old iPAQ 3765 handled video better that this 3 years newer iPAQ.
I had a GPRS connection and was able to browse a few websites and use MSN Messenger to talk to my buddy. Websites weren't fast like on wi-fi, but they were definitely usable and bearable. The phone quality was pretty decent. Again, the speaker isn't too bad. It was kind of awkard to hold in my opinion but I think if I had one, I could learn to deal with it.
I would definitely miss the consumer IR like on my 2215 since I actually do use my iPAQ as my theater remote. In the end, I did like it more than my initial use of the device, but I think the slow processor would just annoy me.
