Same thing happened to me
Unfortunately I bought the phone b/4 knowing about this website. Luckily, it started to mess up within the first 48 hours (screen freezing, couldn't load the sync software onto my pc, etc.) and I got my money back. The worst was when I was on a call with a friend joking around when I heard a ring - the phone had dialed a business contact but was prevented from completing the call b/c I had not entered the area code for the contact's profile yet. If the call had gone through and the conversation heard, it could've resulted in bad consequences. Now I'm looking into the 4705. Any suggestions.

2) Bluetooth is totally unusable. It forgets the headset is there, but still shows the status as all calls going to BT headset.

3) It crashes constantly and needs at least one soft re-boot per day. I have had it crash when answering calls, etc.

4) It frequently says "No SIM Inserted" even though there is one.

5) It turns itself on, and runs the battery out.

6) It turns itself on in your pocket and dials random people.

7) You get a "Static Caption" box that never goes away and have to soft-reboot.

8) It frequently drops calls or crashes when using call waiting.

I have not been able to receive any help from T-Mobile. They have the money and they are done.

I've switched back to my old XDA for now. I'm thinking of getting the XDA III, but want to be a whole lot more careful with my next purchase. I don't want to throw another $500 in the trash.

I wish it were like Asia or Europe here, where it is easy to purchase unlocked phone and the coverage is good. On the other hand... American medical care is the best. I wouldn't trade it in for good cell coverage.
