Or one can think of life as a a series of complex chemical reactions led up to by the evolutionary process. and that as a finite thing life is just a passing moment in time. We are here then we are not. The only grand scheme is the one I am working on to take over French (I think they've done a terrible job and need my benign guidence, 'nother topic though)
