I just purchased a 256mb+wifi card for my 2215 and am trying to find a way to sync my Ipaq docs directly to the storage card. Can anyone point me to a FAQ or give me some pointers on how to do this. I didn't find an obvious setting in activesync to tell it where to put sync'd docs.

Activesync cannot do this.
I use MightySync to do it. There is a lonk in my MyPDA on the left.
