Why wouldn't Dell tech support know this? I called them yesterday and it was some girl who seemed to be in India. I could the delay and accent.

She asked me take both batteries out. I cautioned her that if I do that I might loose my data and asked her if I needed to back it first, she said no you wont (twice). So I took em, when I turned it back on I had lost all my data! (had a back from a few days ago though). I flipped out and asked to speak to some senior technician or her supervisor, she instead agreed to exchange my PDA!

Sigh! why do they have clueless people like that? It seemed like she was reading some ill prepared script!
