I probably have to agree with aximbigfan...I know that business folks would most definately need them (like the blackberry) to avoid having to carry a briefcase, pda, laptop, phone, pager, etc all at once.
For the average user, I don't really see the need in me carrying a "do it all" phone like the 63xx series (which had/has problems). I just carry my phone in one pocket (samsung x427m) and my PDA in the other.
Kind of bad considering the only time I take my PDA is to work and if I know I'll be waiting a while for something...I used to carry my 1945 everywhere before it broke, but I didn't have a phone then.
I can say that if HP comes out with a VGA screen smartphone (like a hx4700 w/ phone capabilities) I would consider upgrading, but right now I don't see a need.
For those of you that have one...how do you like it? What do you do with it besides talk/pda? Can you turn the phone part off and keep the PDA on? Can you set it to vibrate?
