[SIZE=1][SIZE=1][SIZE=1]When I get my Wifi card I'd like to be able to syncronize and browse the web wirelessly using the DSL connection my desktop uses.

I've seen some posts on other Pocket PC forms and here too, that you can either buy a wireless router or connect dirrectly to a desktop wifi card using 'ad hoc' mode. It appears the desktop PCI cards are a bit less expensive than the wireless routers, but not by much. I can't imagine I'd be expanding my existing network to include other systems in the near future, so buying a wireless router doesn't make a whole lot of sense now...

Has anyone tried the 'ad hoc' (card to card) sync and wireless web mode I've mentioned with the Axim and are there any performance tradeoffs with using this method instead of using a wireless router? Or would it be better to pay a little more for the router and not worry about compatability issues?

Thanks!

joe
