Regarding the cross-border navigation, there is a simple way to understand this. You can only navigate in the map data you installed, if you are using a map of London for instance, you can not use any address details outside this map. If you have to switch maps, then you can not do navigation between them.
Individual country maps will not be made available for Navigator 5. The only option to get maps beyond the map that come with the unit, will be to purchase one of the map packs (i.e. Maps of Western Europe or Maps of North America).
