As far as Pascal's wager goes (which is what you're describing your faith is based on), I've stated earlier that it is simply impossible for me and others that have similar beliefs to just say that they believe in God for the "insurance".
If there was an all knowing, powerful god, then he would clearly see through anyone who is just going through the motions in the hopes that they will go to heaven just in case.
