Mobility Site - View Single Post - Built-in Storage

Apologies if this has been discussed before but I'm a little confused about the Built-in Storage on my Axim X5. Is this like having a storage card internally in addition to the 64Mb of RAM? Or is it just a fancy repackaging of what I assign to storage. Also whenever I assign files to the storage area the amount in use never appears to change. Any comments would be greatly appreciated!!
