It gave me some problems with my .avi which worked fine on MVP.
As long as you can find the "perfect" encoding combination, MVP works fine, for example I LOVE watching cartoons w/mvp, it works perfectly fine, it is probably because of 15fps. In matter of fact, I just had re-encoded a full Duck Tales episode yesterday, and it played very smooth, and with no major artifacts.
