wow that's impressive! any other techniques you did with encoding? i'm assuming you just used a resize filter to get it to 320x240, then a rotation filter. as for audio you just used the fraunhoffer mp3 codec to encode at 22khz 56kbit stereo mp3.

I'll have to do some experimenting tonight to do some full screen encodes. I'd be curious to see how it performs with some non-cartoon fast paced video (as alot of the cartoon frames don't differ on a frame by frame basis since most of the background stays static while something in the foreground is animated)

In terms of your axim, is it a 300 or 400 pxa250 or a 255? do you have it overclocked at all?
